
Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Park Central Hotel.
Pricing:
All prices shown online are in £'s per room per night (unless otherwise stated) based on 1 or 2 people sharing a twin or double room for one or more consecutive night stays, except for certain holiday periods where a minimum 2 or 3 night stay may apply. These rates apply to pre-booked leisure stays only.
All prices include Value Added Tax at the current prevailing rate.
Prices are subject to change without notice. However, your price is guaranteed once you are given a confirmation number.
For the avoidance of doubt, your price does not include any incidental charges, which you may incur during your stay (including, by way of example only, the costs of external telephone calls from your room). Such charges will be payable by you on your departure and, in the event that you fail to pay any such incidental charges, it is a condition of your contract with Park Central Hotels that you irrevocably authorize Park Central Hotel to debit your credit or debit card (see 'Deposits and Pre-payments' below) for the amount of any shortfall.
Feature Rooms:
At our hotel you can, on payment of a supplement, upgrade your accommodation to a executive or a signature, on a per room per night basis. Please ask for details.
Rooms:
Unless otherwise stated in any correspondence between us or notified by us to you, breakfast, lunch and dinner are not included. Each of our hotels is unique and as a result our rooms may vary in character, size and in the number of guests that can be accommodated. It is your responsibility to verify the details of a room when you request a booking to ensure that it meets your requirements. All of our rooms have a maximum adult occupancy as follows:
(a) Single: 1 adult only (b) Double, Twin or Family: 2 adults only
If the occupancy exceeds maximum number then you will be charged a £50 per person supplement.
Some of our rooms are suitable for guests with disabilities. Suitable rooms are listed. These rooms have been independently inspected. If you or any member of your party require special facilities please advise us when you request a booking.
Park Central Hotel is strictly non smoking. This policy includes all rooms. In the event you or any member of your party smoke in your room or in the hotel we reserve the right to charge you £100.00 for specialist cleaning to make the room fit as a non smoking environment.
If you, or any member of your party, damage any bedding or linen, we reserve the right to charge you £50.00 for specialist cleaning.
If you or any members of your party cause any damage to the hotel interiors, room interiors or soft furnishings, we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of repair of any such damage.
All items and furniture in your room is the property of Park Central Hotel. We reserve the right to charge you the full replacement cost for any item or piece of furniture removed from your room.
Children:
Children under the age of 4 can stay for free, when sharing a room with 2 paying adults. Children from the ages of 4 to 14 years will be charged at £10.00 per child per night (this covers the cost of bed & breakfast, linen, towels and toiletries.), when sharing a room with 2 paying adults where a suitable room is available. Availability of suitable rooms is limited and portable beds may need to be used where such accommodation is sought. The hotel concerned will determine whether a room is suitable for the purpose of this offer. A child of 14 years and above will be classed as an adult and will need to have their own room. There is a maximum of two adults per room.
Dogs:
Dogs are not permitted at Park Central Hotel, exception of guide dogs.
Car Parking:
Car parking is charged at £7.50 per night, there is limited availability. Guests are advised to book a space at the time of booking. Are main car park is at the Bournemouth International centre, our car park is for hotel drop offs, disabled and deliveries. You will be given a key, if the key is not returned we will charge £5. The car park space is available until you depart at 11am. If you wish to stay longer, it is subject to availability and must be authorized by a member of staff.
Checking In and Out:
Arrival and Departure
Hotel rooms are available from 15.00 hrs on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure, unless otherwise sanctioned at the discretion of the hotel manager. If you have a late checkout it will be charged £10 per hour after noon. Excluding any special packages that include late check out as part of the package then it will be complimentary, again subject to availability.
Deposits and Pre-Payments:
A deposit or a pre payment may be required and, where required, will be taken, at the time of booking, in accordance with the provisions applying to the product and rate selected by you. In any event, you are required to guarantee your booking with a valid credit or debit card at the time of booking. Payment (where no deposit or prepayment is required or otherwise of any balance due) will be taken upon departure. In the event of cancellation payment will be taken in accordance with our cancellation terms. See "Cancellations and Amendments" below for details.
Balance of Monies Outstanding:
Prior to your departure from the hotel you will be required to settle your bill.
On arrival you will be asked to produce a valid debit or credit card for the hotel to take a pre authorization. This is not a payment but to ensure you have funds to cover your stay. If you choose to use another card or method of payment on departure, it can take up to five working days for the banks to release the pre authorization funds back into your bank account. If you are settling your account in cash, you will be asked for a deposit to cover the cost of your room for your stay (and any extras which you may incur in the hotel will not be chargeable to your room account). If the card given is not suitable for pre authorization you will be given the choice of providing another type of card or paying for the room up front. Park Central Hotel accepts all major credit cards, including MasterCard,Visa and American Express.
Cancellations and Amendments:
All cancellations must be made in accordance with our cancellation terms.
Most of the rates featured on the Park Central Website may be
cancelled without charge 24 hours prior to the scheduled day of your arrival
at the relevant hotel. However, cancellation terms may vary according to the
type of rate, which you have booked. Where a cancellation is not made in accordance with our applicable cancellation terms, we reserve the right to charge you for the first night's accommodation. A cancellation number must be obtained to ensure that such charges will not be levied.
Whilst every effort is made to fulfill any particular requests which you may have in relation to your stay with us, we cannot unfortunately guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requests which you may make and our failure in this regard will not constitute a breach of contract.
In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. However, you have the right to:
- accept the changed arrangements as notified; or
- make alternative arrangements with Park Central Hotel; or
- cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of any monies which you have paid to Park Central Hotel in respect of your reservation (please note that we shall not be liable for any sums which you have paid to any other persons in connection with your reservation).
For the avoidance of doubt, we shall have no further liability to you for any changes to or the cancellation of any online booking.
Complaints or Comments:
Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at one of our hotels should be made in the first instance to the hotel's duty manager at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time.
Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified in writing to Hotel Manager, Park Central Hotel, Exeter Road, Bournemouth, BH2 5AJ.
Advertising/promotional rates:
Bookings are taken at the discretion of the individual hotel, subject to availability. Only a certain number of rooms are available at each hotel on selected dates. Each hotel sets aside a limited number of rooms for guests. When this allocation is reached the hotel cannot usually accept any more bookings at these prices although it may not technically be full. The prices may be restricted or may not apply at some of the hotels at certain times. These rates are applicable for new bookings only. Normal supplements apply for upgraded accommodation. We reserve the right to amend offers as appropriate. Where applicable payment in full is required at time of booking and this is non-refundable, non transferable. Payment is taken by the hotel within approximately 24 hours of the booking been made. These rates cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
GUEST BEHAVIOUR
You are expected to conduct yourself at all times in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the quiet enjoyment of other guests. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your booking and the booking of any members of your party if we (acting reasonably) deem your conduct to be in breach of this clause.
Conduct that we reasonably consider inappropriate includes but is not limited to:
(a) creating an inappropriate level of noise;
(b) drunken or unruly behaviour; and/or
(c) any behaviour which other guests or staff find offensive in any way.
We will at all times act reasonably when making any determination
In the event that we terminate your booking, you will be required to leave your accommodation immediately. You will be held liable for any damage or loss caused by you or a member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid prior to your departure. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you.
Our obligations to you come to an end when the booking is terminated pursuant to clause We will have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation and we will not pay for any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.
PRICING AND OTHER ERRORS
We try to make sure that all information on the Website, including descriptions of our accommodation and listed prices, are accurate and correct at all times. However, mistakes do happen. We will try to resolve all errors in information on the Website as soon as reasonably possible and if we think that such an error has affected your request and/or Contract with us we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.
If this does happen to your reservation you will then be given the two options of re-confirming your booking with the correct information or cancelling your booking.
If you decide to cancel your booking after we have informed you of a pricing error and you have already paid for the booking, we will give you a full refund as soon as reasonably possible (and in any event within thirty (30) days of cancellation).
EVENTS BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
We will not be responsible for any delay or failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions if the delay or failure arises from any event which is beyond our reasonable control. Such events would include (but are not limited to) fires, floods, earthquakes, storms, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, utilities supply failure or malicious damage to or destruction of our premises, equipment or goods.
