DM: Tell us what the last 12 months has meant for your business.
PCH: Since opening in March 2010, we have been showcasing our original style accommodation and shown how Bournemouth was ready for a modern and elegant new four star hotel. Between the hotel and the Crab at Bournemouth Restaurant , we have created over 50 new local jobs and our team are exceeding in delivering the level of service our customers would expect from a four star hotel.
DM: What feedback have you had from your customers since opening?
PCH: We receive some great, regular feedback from guests both in house and online. Feedback is absolutely vital for any business, especially a new one like ours, as it help reaffirm the job that we are doing and helps us improve, learning from today to do better tomorrow. Our guests are particularly impressed by our professional & friendly staff and “the most comfortable mattresses,” – according to one of our regular guests.
DM: What makes Park Central Hotel unique?
PCH: We are fortunate to be located directly across from the B.I.C, we are less than a minute walk from Bournemouth’s famous beaches and a stone’s throw from the town centre. Our restaurant, the Crab at Bournemouth is the newest fine-dining venue specializing in the most sensational seafood. But our guests are our main focus – we want them to stay with us time and again so our dedicated team will make sure that we go the extra mile!
DM: How are you feeling about the forthcoming year?
PCH: We are really excited about 2011! We’re just about to celebrate our very first Christmas and New Year and once we’re into 2011, we want to work with more local businesses to give the most preferential rates possible. Our First Anniversary will soon be upon us at the end of March – watch this space because we’ll be doing something very special to celebrate!
